Borgloon is a city in the middle of nature and surrounded by beautiful old towns. Visitors often come to walk and cycle in the beautiful Hesbaye.
Let us inspire you below.

Cycling and hiking

Haspengouw is known for its blossoms and its excellent cycle route network. But did you know that you can also take beautiful walks here?

With the children

Also for children there is plenty to see and do here. For example, go to the municipal play orchard: picnicking, romping around, climbing trees, picking fruit, everything is allowed here. Rent (children's) bikes at the tourist office. Is it raining? Climb the tower in Sint-Truiden, feel a knight in the Gallo-Roman Museum, or jump in the indoor pool of Bilzen or Sint-Truiden or in the outdoor pool of Wellen.

PIT brings art into the open space of Borgloon. The famous Doorkijkkerkje by Gijs van Vaerenbergh (Reading between the lines) can be seen from our house. The Twijfelgrens of Fred Eerdekens is also within walking distance. Read more...

There are several excellent restaurants, brasseries and pubs in Borgloon and the surrounding area. Read our restaurant tips here.

You will spend one or more nights in our B&B and in the meantime you will make your own sourdough bread under the guidance of the hostess. Upon departure you will of course get the bread and a cup of sourdough for home use. Read all about the sourdough workshop.
